“Kafi Otmar” - the neighborhood bistro from St. Gallen was imported at the cultural center O.V.N.I. in Fribourg.
Stories from guests have been recorded over a drink. The guests could listen to them while they enjoyed the same drink as the guest at Kafi Otmar.

In their search for ’Un bon gros poème à avaler”, Camille Mermet and Manuela Luterbacher invited themselves into the kitchens of strangers to cook with them. Each time, they brought a kitchen tool and a surprise food item. For the rest, they helped themselves to their hosts' fridges and cupboards. These encounters gave rise to magical culinary experiences, carried out collectively and joyfully, combining spontaneous inspiration, material constraints and family recipes.Here is Manuela's diary; a photographic summary.

A culinary performance by Camille Mermet
In this new creation, Camille Mermet invites you to take part in the preparation of a meal that you will all enjoy together, as she offers you the story of culinary crossings. As usual, Camille will offer you an immersive, narrative experience, in which sound will play a fundamental role. It will be a story, of course. A pretty story that tells the story of some of the paths that cooking has mapped out for us. A pretty story in a big poem that you'll all eat at the end. And as the artist would always like us not to know when it starts and when it stops, she'll be happy to know that you've gone home with something in your belly, a big poem to digest...!

The dynamics of coexistence as a culinary performance
by Sara Koller, Ninutsa Shatberashvili & Manuela Luterbacher
On a journey to the Caucasus, the artists Manuela Luterbacher and Sara Koller explored the dynamics of living together: To which resources are we entitled? How can we create a togetherness that is acceptable for all?
They have translated their reflections and experiences into an artistic language which they presented already in the Center of Contemporary Art in Tbilisi and the Dampfzentrale in Bern. Hospitality is at the heart of community. Ninutsa Shatberashvili, a Georgian food performer, travels to Switzerland to add fragrance and flavor to the feeling of togetherness.
